What is Caffeinated Memos?
This is a financial newsletter dedicated to uncovering potential short-term catalysts and thematic opportunities overlooked or undervalued by the market.
What can I expect?
At least one substantive stock idea per month. Posts include detailed thesis work and catalyst timing.
Why subscribe?
Get actionable ideas before the crowd. Never miss an update—every new post is sent directly to your email inbox.
Is there a paid tier?
All posts are accessible to free or paid readers. I began offering monthly/annual plans as a way to accept donations after multiple reader requests.
How else can I stay engaged?
I also share posts and timely updates via the @CaffeinatedMemo twitter.
How do you generate alpha?
I look for relevant news-based catalysts that have been overlooked by the market. This can include government contracts, product launches, partnership announcements, and other events. Typically this involves value and technical overlays along with retail sentiment checks.
Do you have a track record?
I have been tracking ideas on a 3 month and 6 month return basis (given my posts typically rely on short-term catalysts, this is an appropriate time frame):
Past results are not indicative of future results.
Price (Post) based on Market Open from the day after post.
Why did you start this newsletter?
I believed a monthly newsletter would motivate research beyond my typical trade entries, allow me to filter my best ideas, and create opportunities to engage with other active investors on my thesis work.
